John Katko is a native of Central New York and a former federal prosecutor. He worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for 20 years. In that role he focused on making the community safer, keeping drugs off the streets, and fighting political corruption.
In Congress, John continues to focus on legislation that helps the people of Central New York. In his first term, he was ranked as the most productive first term member of Congress, passing 14 bills through the House, six of which were signed into law.
