From an early age, John Faso came to understand the value of hard work, perseverance, and the value of education. His father worked multiple jobs to provide for the family and after getting his undergraduate degree, John worked full time to put himself through law school. He has used that education to serve the people of New York in many different positions. As a member of the NY State Assembly, Faso served as ranking member of the Ways & means Committee in charge of tax policy and was the lead sponsor of education reform legislation that created New York’s successful charter school program.
Now in his first term in Congress, John is a member of the Budget, Agriculture, and Transportation & Infrastructure Committees.
